Tanushree Dutta opened the floodgates of the #MeToo wave in India when she accused her Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss co-star Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets. Now, the actress is all set to make a short film, Inspiration based on sexual harassment in Bollywood. The film will release online on 8th March which also happens to be International Women’s Day. Tanushree spoke about her film to Mid-Day and revealed that it is going to be reality meets fiction.
She said:
It deals with the issue of willful exploitation of young newcomers in showbiz or any other field where they don’t have mentors or guidance.
As per the tabloid, Tanushree was approached by the online content platform, Ullu, which is also producing the short film. Tanushree, who will be playing the role of a guiding angel who inspires the girls to choose the right path, has written the dialogues inspired by her own insight and understanding on the matter.
Tanushree is excited to face the camera after almost 9 years.
