Bipasha Basu has been away from the big screen for almost four years now. Her last film, Alone, co-starring her now husband, Karan Singh Grover didn’t create much of an impact on the Box Office. Soon after, the two tied the knot on April 30, 2016 and we often get a sneak peek of their #MonkeyLove through their exotic vacation pictures on Instagram.
Bips and Karan are reportedly making a comeback as an on screen couple with Aadat. In an interview with IANS, the actress opened up about her extended break from films, saying:
I have been working since the age of 15, right after school as a model for the first three years; and from 19 when I started my first film till now. I have been acting for a very long time. I had very little time to spend with my family and post my wedding was my time that I reconnected with my family and I could spend a lot of time with them. It is essential to spend that much quality time with your parents and your entire family.
She further said that she never feared losing her stardom, but was concerned about losing her relevance. Bipasha was labelled as “bold” at the onset of her career for choosing roles which made her stand out – and that was one of the primary reasons she catapulted to stardom.
We are certainly looking forward to seeing the sultry Bengali beauty back on the big screen.
