Kangana Ranaut has recently been in the news for her film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The film, which released on 25th January 2019, depicts the life of India’s Warrior-Queen, Manikarnika. The audience seems to be impressed by the film, however, the actress is upset with Bollywood for not coming out and supporting the movie. She went out to name Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt too and spoke about the Raazi actress acting under the influence of Karan Johar. As per reports, Kangana also said that Alia should ‘grow a spine’ and questioned if her “existence was all about being KJo’s puppet”.
Alia, who was in Berlin for the promotion of her film, Gully Boy, has finally reacted to it. She opened up about Kangana’s accusations to the leading daily DNA.
Here’s what she said:
I would like to react to her personally if she has any complaints. I don’t want to talk about it in the media…I didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this.
Alia maintained that she admires Kangana for her choices as an actor and her outspoken attitude. However, she believes she hasn’t intentionally hurt the actress and would resolve the issue personally.
