Bollywood is known for its love stories both on and off screen. While some of them find their happily-ever-afters, others usually end on a sad note. Something similar happened with one of Bollywood’s top singers, Neha Kakkar. She was dating actor, Himansh Kohli and their social media PDA was quite dreamy too. Sadly, their relationship was short-lived. A lot has been said and written about their break-up while both chose to remain silent. However, Neha recently opened up during an interview with Dainik Bhaskar about her single status and why it didn’t work out between them.
Here’s what she had to say:
Right now, all I can say is that being single is the best feeling of my life. You know what, when I was in a relationship, I was not being able to give time to my family and my friends. At that time, I dedicated all my time and energy to that person who does not deserve it. And guess what; in spite of giving him so much time; he always complained of not being together.
She also spoke about being depressed when it all happened and coming out of it. Neha revealed that it made her realise the importance of family and she added that she’s not open to being in love again. The singer seems to be happy with her current ‘single’ status too.
Looks like Neha will only be focusing on her career right now.
