I am sure I am not the only one who loves a film which has more than one superstar. When two or more megastars come together for a film, it instantly becomes memorable. Though I am not denying that there have been a few misses (Thugs Of Hindostan, anyone?!), but most of them have been noteworthy. (Dil Chahta Hai, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Dil Dhadakne Do and several others)
You can judge me outwardly for liking all the movies I have mentioned.
Anyway, there are many more dream associations I would like to see on screen. Nothing too elaborate like the song Om Shanti Om from the film by the same name, but I wouldn’t mind a movie extension of Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan‘s song, Mast Kalandar (Heyy Baby).
That, however, is too far-fetched. Why? Because the two superstars don’t follow the same clock. While Akki has a disciplined routine wherein he wakes up early, goes to work and comes back home by evening; King Khan is a nocturnal who shoots at night until the wee hours of morning.
But hypothetically, if this situation arises, SRK thinks it’ll be fun. He told DNA:
It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga.
LOL, now that’s a legit problem! But we can still manage another song with their vastly different schedules, right?!
