Overall Kangana Ranaut‘s Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi has been received well by the audience. Kangana had dedicated a year to the magnum-opus which is why we didn’t see her on the big screen in 2018. But unfortunately, even before the trailer of Manikarnika had released, the movie was tangled in controversy. By now, everyone who has been following any kind of B-town news would know that the movie based on the queen of Jhansi was initially directed by Krish Jagrlamudi. News of the director leaving the movie mid-way because of too much interference from Kangana had begun going around the interweb. Some reports suggested that Krish revealed Kangana wanted to increase her screentime in the movie and this had given way to the disputes.
But today, Kangana’s sister Rangoli shared screenshots of her conversation with the writer of the film Vijayendra Prasad.
In the screenshots, Kangana contacted the writer saying that she had fought with the production house to give Krish credit for directing the film. Rangoli even revealed how Kangana had requested Krish to be a part of the team.
Check it out:
While Kangana has told us her side of the story, we will have to see what Krish has to say to this.
