Yo-Yo Ma is a musical prodigy who is described to be one of the best cellists to have ever lived. He has won 18 Grammy Awards and has released more than 90 albums. Ma recently performed at the National Centre For Performing Arts and later treated the crowds at Marine Drive with an impromptu performance.
With the sky painting a gorgeous sunset in the background and the salty wind flowing freely, Ma spontaneously decided to play his cello by the sea. From little children to many elders, Ma attracted the attention of many with his mesmerising music. Though the crowd didn’t know that they were listening to a Grammy winner play live, they were very clearly spell struck by his melodies and symphonies. Check out some of the pictures and videos of his stunning performance below!
The performance went on for 20 minutes, after which Ma gracefully took a bow and left. The humbleness and sheer talent of Yo-Yo Ma is incredibly inspiring and has left us absolutely speechless.
