We are almost a week into 2019 and are still exchanging the ‘happy new year’ messages. Where some are still in the celebratory and holiday mood, there is something that has come as a piece of shocking news to us. Just today morning, Hrithik Roshan shared a post on Instagram breaking the news about his father, Rakesh Roshan being diagnosed with throat cancer.
In a heartfelt post, Hrithik revealed about his father undergoing surgery today. He also wrote about how blessed they are as a family to have a leader like him.

Hrithik’s sister, Sunaina Roshan, fought and overcame cervical cancer in 2014. She has always been an inspiration for the entire family. When she had written a blog about her fight with cancer, Mr Roshan had tweeted about how proud he was of his daughter.

Coming to the father and son’s upcoming film, Krrish 4, the director had made an announcement about the release date of the film on Hrithik’s birthday last year. “Today is perhaps the best day to make the release day of Krrish 4 official. Christmas 2020 it is. A gift for all of you on Hrithik’s birthday,” he had written.
