Yesterday was a glamorous night indeed! With all celebs decked in their best for the red carpet of the Star Screen Awards 2018, it is hard to stand out of the glam crowd. But Shraddha Kapoor managed it excellently as she brought in her desi vibe to the red carpet.
Going completely opposite to the usual red carpet look of a gown, Shraddha went the contemporary desi route. It wasn’t just her outfit that had the desi element but also her accessories. Shraddha wore a pastel blue sparkly ensemble designed by designer Krésha Bajaj. The peplum-like top had full sleeves, a deep V-neckline and an intricate embroidery design. It was teamed with a lehenga in the same colour with sparkly embellishments. The contemporary lehenga and top easily passed off as a gown though because of the modern silhouette.
But the desi-ness was instilled again with the jewellery she donned. She accessorised the look with a dazzling maang tikka and choker bothe from Anmol Jewellers. We love the tradition part that the maang tikka played in this outfit.
