Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started dating each other on the sets of Brahamastra around New Year’s last year. Soon the news spread like wildfire when they made their first public appearance together at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja‘s wedding reception. While Ranbir has been vocal about his feelings right from the start, Alia remains tightlipped about their romantic involvement.
However, the actress’ dad, Mahesh Bhatt, who also knows Ranbir and has officially met him with Alia made a rather strong statement in a recent interview. Without divulging any details, his quote suggested that Alia and Ranbir were in love but their future plans with each other were their prerogative. His words caught everyone’s attention and Alia was asked about the same when she made an appearance at the Kids’ Choice Awards last night.
The actress, however, avoided answering the questions and said this:
To be honest, I don’t want to talk about it, I am feeling shy. But, I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me.
Our celeb-romance loving hearts are not happy for the lack of more deets on their relationship but at least the couple isn’t trying to pull off the ‘just close friends’ bit.
On the work front, Alia has been busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji‘s Brahmastra and Karan Johar‘s Kalank simultaneously and both the films are two of the most anticipated ones among the lot!
