Sonali Bendre, who was in New York for her cancer treatment, is now back in Mumbai. The actress was snapped at the airport earlier this week after a 6-month long stay in the US. Though her husband, Goldie Behl was always there by her side by there, she also had another person as a solid, throughout the 6 months. It was her sister Rupa Ranadive. Sonali took to Instagram to thank her and said that she is forever indebted, in an emotional post.

Rupa Tai, as Sonali calls her, left everything behind to stay by her sister’s side and was involved in her journey. “Her transition from one role to another was seamless. A dictator when I needed to eat right or take my meds or an empathetic counsellor alternating between giving advice and offering silent support when all I needed was to be alone with my thoughts. She was around. She was with me and by me, at all times,” wrote Sonali in her post.
Having a sister is definitely a blessing.
