Anushka Sharma has had a busy 2018 with four movie releases which started with Pari followed by Sanju and Sui Dhaaga. Her last release for the year will be Zero, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, and will be releasing on 21st December. The actress has been busy with the promotions of the films in which she plays the role of a scientist suffering from cerebral palsy. Anushka has not made any announcement regarding her next film after Zero. Because of this, a number of rumours have been doing the round that Anushka and her husband Virat Kohli are expecting a baby. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress decided to put an end to the rumours once and for all.
She said,
That (spreading rumours) is something people will do anyway. It’s completely unnecessary and silly as you ultimately can’t hide such a thing. You can hide a marriage but not pregnancy. People can write nonsense but they will only look foolish after four months as you also need to see it.
Anushka further said that she is working ’round-the-clock’ and a number of female actors go through a similar situation.
Anushka said,
I feel every female actor goes through it, so people marry you off even before you are hitched and make you a mother before you are pregnant. I don’t pay attention to it, and just laugh these things off since I find them hilarious. When I read about such stuff, I think, ‘where do such absurd things come from?’ Right now, I’m literally working round-the-clock.
