Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh‘s wedding was undoubtedly one of the dreamiest weddings of the year. While the initial lack of photos to obsess over left me with major FOMO, the stunning moments from their sangeet, mehendi ceremony at Lake Como gave me all the feels. The first photos of Deepveer as a married couple made me fall in love with them all over again. Post the Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies in Italy, the couple hosted the first reception in Bengaluru. Needless to say, DP and Ranveer made heads turn with their regal looks for the evening.
All the wedding ceremonies so far looked beautiful, classy and traditional but tbh, I was missing a little hint of eccentricity to it too given Ranveer’s personality. And my prayers were answered at the party that Ranveer’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani hosted in honour of the newlyweds. Their Sabyasachi outfits matched with the groom’s quirky personality and they looked like a bomb together. The Simmba actor was in his element and the bride and groom seemed to be having a blast. I couldn’t stop smiling looking at these glimpses from the party and I am sure you won’t either!

The newlyweds are expected to host two more receptions, one for their families and close friends in Mumbai and the other for the B-Town folks! This party has certainly set the tone for the next two functions and my expectations have skyrocketed.
