Priyanka Chopra is one #BossBabe that dons many hats. She’s an actor, singer, producer, philanthropist — you name it, she’s done it all! Unsurprisingly, she is one of the busiest celebrities in the industry. To top it all off, along with shooting for her film The Sky Is Pink, she is also planning her own wedding! Priyanka and her beau, Nick Jonas are only a few days away from tying the knot in Jodhpur. While we are supremely happy and excited for the global star’s big day, it turns out that amidst all the hustle and bustle of her wedding prep, she has also found time to stand up for a good cause.
Ahead of her wedding festivities which will be held on the 1st and 2nd of December, Priyanka will be joining hands with Facebook to introduce the first ever Live-athon (Facebook Live + Marathon) called #SocialForGood on the 27th of November at 12 pm. As one of the biggest social media influencers in the world, PeeCee is striving towards making social media a safer space for people to communicate. She will be going live on Facebook for 4 hours, along with some of the most popular names in pop culture, and guess what? Our very own #BossLady Malini Agarwal will be co-hosting a Women’s Entrepreneurship panel with Priyanka too! (Yay!). Some of the other panel discussions will focus on important ways in which social media can be put to use for a greater good, including mental health awareness, cyberbullying, conservation & welfare and many more topics that are of utmost importance for everyone using social media.
Priyanka had taken to Instagram to make an announcement about the event a few days ago:

Talking about the Live-athon PeeCee said,
There is no denying the power of Social Media. It is a force which once unleashed, is difficult to control or stop. Its force comes from the huge influence it wields and recognizing that means, using it well, to do some good. I have personally witnessed the positive effects of social media in bringing awareness and action to many of the causes I hold dear to my heart. The right content can make all the difference. To use it to bring awareness to causes that matter, celebrate some real-life stories and also inspire people to do their bit for the community, is a fantastic idea.
Priyanka is currently in Delhi with her fiancé Nick and they also celebrated Thanksgiving together last night. Nick arrived in India just last evening for his upcoming wedding. Piggy Chops, who is in Delhi shooting for her film, will be flying to Mumbai especially for this event before she goes to Jodhpur for her wedding ceremonies.
Among all her amazing qualities, the one thing I’d definitely love to learn from this #BossBabe is her ability to multitask. You truly are an inspiration in every way, PeeCee!
