Yup, it’s that kinda Monday—the day after a week-long of festivities and celebrations. TBH, we still can’t get over the happy vibes and the desi looks that our B-Town beauties had in store for us this festive season. As we were drooling over them, our Insta feed buzzed with Alia Bhatt‘s new desi look.
Alia joined her parents for a panel discussion at the Kolkata International Film Festival in her desi avatar. Celebrity stylist Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya from team #StyleByAmi styled this custom-made outfit from Sabyasachi. The ruby silk mashru kurta had a delicate tilla-work embroidery and was cut in a contemporary silhouette with thin straps. The textural play was build with a velvet gharara and hand-embroidered organza dupatta. He accessorised the look gold chandelier earrings from Curio Cottage.
To keep the outfit in focus, makeup artist Puneet B Saini went for a muted dewy look with strong eyebrows but made sure the richness of the ruby colour was evident on the lips. Even hairstylist Ayesha DeVitre went for a sleek ponytail with a basic middle parting.
