Diwali is just around the corner and if you’re still trying to figure what to wear for the festivities, then Kangana Ranaut‘s recent back-to-back desi looks can be a great reference point. Especially, if you’re the one who likes a low-key desi look.
Her first appearance was in a cream colour suit from Anita Dongre that features delicate floral embroidery on the base of Murshidabad silk. This desi ensemble was styled with her Hermès Gris Asphalte Togo Birkin bag and baby pink Louis Vuitton pumps. Here dewy makeup look with rosy hints on the cheeks was refreshing to see too.
For the night, she aptly switched to another Anita Dongre ensemble. This look was such a contrast to the other one, not only because of the colour but also because of the textile. She chose a midnight blue velvet kurta that had an embroidered front yolk, which was teamed with matching velvet pants. She even matched her juttis with her outfit and carried her favourite Mini Lady Dior bag. For her beauty look, she kept it dewy but in muted tones that complemented the outfit.
Both the looks were fabulous yet so simple and managed to make an impact. Taking a cue from Kangana, do you think monochrome is the way to go this Diwali? Let us know what you think of these looks in the comments below.
