The latest celebrities to join the list of B-Town celebs that have reacted to Tanushree Dutta‘s sexual harassment claims are Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The two were at the HT Summit when they were asked the question and we’re glad that both of them didn’t hold back when they answered the question.
Ranveer clearly stated that harassment of any kind is wrong,
Harassment of any kind is wrong. If it has happened then it takes a lot of courage to speak publicly about it. You must consider this person. If it has happened then it is absolutely wrong.
While she agreed with Ranveer, Deepika further added that the #MeToo movement is not about gender.
I feel #MeToo movement is not about gender. It’s about the victory of right over wrong. I think anyone who faces any sort of discrimination or any sort of abuse, we as people must support that person. It’s not about a woman or a man or female vs male. Let’s not complicate or get confused in any manner. It’s never about gender.
At the event, the couple also addressed their November wedding rumours.
