Netflix never fails to surprise us with brilliant shows every so often. In fact, we also love the movies they release apart from all these shows. And of course, how can we forget their love for Radhika Apte? Today, however, we’re here to tell you about the announcement they made on Wednesday.
The streaming service on Netflix announced that they have cracked a multi-year deal with The C.S. Lewis Company. Remember the famous series of movies called Chronicles Of Narnia that were based on the classic novels written by C.S. Lewis? This will be the first time any company will have held the rights to all seven books.
“C.S. Lewis’ beloved Chronicles of Narnia stories have resonated with generations of readers around the world,”
said Netflix‘s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, in a press release.
“Families have fallen in love with characters like Aslan and the entire world of Narnia, and we’re thrilled to be their home for years to come.” he continued.
It isn’t clear if this deal will be transpired into a show, movies or both. All we know is something really special will be coming our way super soon! We loved the movies Disney released based on the books. We can’t, however, wait to see Netflix‘s take on the series. Are you as excited as us? Tell us your favourite book from the series in the comments below.
