Don’t we just love it when we get extra time off? No matter what the reason, it gives us time to do things we want to, and spend time with our family and friends. While every dry day has a significance, we should make sure that these days are spent in a productive way. However, it is also the perfect time to be well-rested for the few days to come. This day works as a perfect one-day detox our bodies actually need. Here are a few ways to spend a dry day.
1. Watch A Movie
Either go to the theatre for a nice movie or watch one at home. Movies are always a good way to spend the day.
2. Cook A Meal
Cook a nice meal for the fam! They’ll never say no to that. And involve others in the meal tasting process. Now, isn’t that fun?
3. Go For A Swim
If you’re the kind of person who loves to go to the gym or swim, take your crew and make a day of it.
4. Board Games
Game night is always fun. Start early and play fun games like Taboo, Monopoly, Uno, Cards Against Humanity and more!
5. Clean Your House
Take this day to clean your cupboard, shelves and other parts of the house that you haven’t got the time to clean for a while.
6. Read A New Book
Start reading a new book. If you’ve been meaning to read a new book in a while, now is the time.
7. Netflix (N’ Chill)
Binge-watch a new show or a show you’ve been dying to watch for a while. The timing couldn’t be perfect.
8. Go For A Walk
Stroll around a park near your house or better yet, go for a nice long run!
9. Catch Up With A Friend
Sometimes, it’s possible that you may not get time to meet your friends. Take this day to catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee.
10. Rest
And if all else fails, just nap away! Take this time to relax and prep for the rest of the week.
