For an artist, it sometimes takes a muse to reach their full potential, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra‘s latest outfit (and her new Instagram post) is proof of that! It’s no news that Shilpa adores Amit Aggarwal‘s work and has been his muse for quite some time now. From being his showstopper to wearing his dramatic sarees, Shilpa has done it all. So, when it came to this particular edgy look, Amit took to nature for inspiration.
For a promo shoot, celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra picked this divine Amit Aggarwal creation from his couture collection, Crystalis. In fact, Shilpa Shetty was the showstopper for the collection’s showcase at India Couture Week. She styled it with earrings from Outhouse, bracelet from Isharya and rose gold strappy heels. But the couture gown was so beautifully crafted that all our focus was on it.
Amit Aggarwal took to Instagram to explain his inspiration for this particular design. A pretty unique bird called Roseate Spoonbill‘s wings and it’s movements served as an inspo for the silhouette. Even the colour of the garment was a reflection of the pink spotted on the bird. What we loved about this design was that Amit managed to translate this inspiration in his own unique way and presented this outfit that was just breathtaking. Feminine details like the one off-shoulder style and the thigh-high slit made an appealing statement.
