Tanushree Dutta may have stayed far away from the Bollywood industry for 10 years. Recently, her return from the US has been making headlines due to the shocking revelations she made about Nana Patekar having sexually harassed her on the sets of the 2008 movie Horn Ok Pleasssss. While Tanushree didn’t hold back from talking about the incident back when it had happened, nobody paid attention to her then. But now, things turned out to be a little different when she recounted those events. While the director and choreographer of the movie had rubbished the claims saying Tanushree may just have misunderstood Nana’s intentions, Nana had remained silent until now.
While talking to a news channel, he dismissed all the accusations made by Tanushree saying that he is actually contemplating taking legal action against her.
He said,
What can I do about what one says? You tell me. What does it mean by sexual harassment? We were on the set, and there were 200 people sitting in front of us. What can I say?
He also said he felt it was even wrong to talk to the media about it.
I will see what can be legally done. It is also wrong and inappropriate to talk to you (media) since you publish anything… I will continue to do what I have been doing in my life.
While Tanushree’s allegations are being considered what will kickstart the #MeToo movement in Bollywood, we doubt if that will be the case.
But now, a lot of actors have been coming out in support of the actress and I have to say that is something I thought would never happen.
