Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is a pair the 90’s kids swear by. From Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, the duo has given us innumerable films we can watch till we get old and that is what we love about them. Now, what if we told you that SRK had actually told Kajol once, to learn to act. Kajol in a recent interview with DNA revealed that while they were filming Baazigar, SRK had asked her to burn as an actor.
Kajol said,
I remember having a conversation during Baazigar with Shah Rukh Khan and he told me, I should learn how to act and I was like, ‘I am doing so fabulously well’. He told me I need to burn out as an actor, I felt, he talks nonsense sometimes. But when I was shooting for Udhar Ki Zindagi, I was like, ‘I can’t do films that are so heavy, it sucks so much out of you’. I did not want to do that anymore.
Kajol further revealed that after that she had a talk with her mother Tanuja about doing lighter films.
I (told her) that I want to do films with three songs, three scenes, etc. So I signed up films like Hulchul and Gundaraj, among others.
Well, Kajol, you have surely come a long way.
