Bigg Boss 12 premiered last Sunday on Colors and the introductory episode hosted by Salman Khan left viewers expecting a lot more entertainment this season. The show and its contestants have been doing just that as each episode hurls more drama than the previous one towards the viewers and we’re only on Day 5, ladies and gentleman.
The latest episode gave us yet another serving of drama and then some more. Late night on Day 4, Kriti was seen reprimanding Romil Choudhary for initiating the ‘Rose stealing’ tactic during the captaincy task and then turning on the team. Kriti Verma and Roshmi Banik take on their responsibilities as captains and assign duties to the housemates. Saba Khan, upset over the duo winning the captaincy, refuses to do the assigned task and exits the group. Moments later, Sreesanth was seen being consoled by Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Srishty Rode and Jasleen Matharu. Sreesanth seemed to be getting emotional and crying over the tension that was in the house over the tasks. On the other hand, Deepak Thakur and Sourabh Patel were seen sharing a light-hearted moment as the former shared a humourous Shayari about Anup Jalota.
Day 5 began with another Bollywood song and this time it’s the classic and absolutely suiting, Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho. Romil and Deepak try to coax Sourabh to open up and bring out the true side of him instead of being the ‘nice guy’. The Khan sisters, Saba & Somi are busy planning a strategy to spoil Kriti and Roshmi’s captaincy. Stickin to the plan, Saba initiates an argument with Kriti during breakfast as well. The drama in the kitchen room was barely over when Bigg Boss dropped another bomb and announced that it was time for contestants to be put into the jail aka kaalkothri. The housemates nominate Karavir and Romil-Nirmal while Bigg Boss revealed that they three men were also nominated for the same. During the nomination process, Deepak and Roshmi express that they were hurt when Karanvir used the word, ‘class’ during the captaincy task and Karanvir clarified saying, “It wasn’t sarcastic, it was direct” and added that he meant he didn’t want to get into a physical fight with the girls over a task.
Later, Dipika and Neha were seen discussing how Srishty should be eliminated for her lack of involvement and bonding with the housemates and Anup agrees with them. The jail inmates discuss the behaviour of the Khan sisters and their defiance to the captains. Meanwhile, Jasleen tries to clarify the reason behind Anup’s decision of selecting Dipika as the winner of the captaincy task which ends up leaving her annoyed over Deepak constantly discussing it and stirring the pot over and over again. On the other hand, Deepak is upset over Jasleen making accusations against him.
Once the argument calms down, Deepak is seen talking to Srishty and reassuring her that he has her back. And in contradiction to that, Neha and Dipika are seen complaining about Srishty distancing herself from the housemates and not delivering what she promises. Urvashi joins Srishty who is sitting in another part of the house where the former is crying and consoles her to not feel upset.
While the melodrama is at its full par, Somi of the Saba- Somi jodi, whom I have deemed as the ‘The Defiant’ is seen passing things to the men in the kaalkothri to spite the captain. Kriti notices this which leads to another arument between them. The game is getting interesting just in time for the firsst Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan.
I can’t wait to find out who will be the first to get eliminated from the Bigg Boss house. have you made your guesses yet?
