A Bollywood actress, who was a part of Aamir Khan’s Dangal had filed a complaint against a co-passenger on her flight from Delhi to Mumbai after he had molested her, eight months ago. The accused was recently arrested after the Sahar Police presented the charge sheet to Dindoshi court.
The Kashmiri actress had shared a video on social media about how the 39-year-old Vikas Sachdeva, who was seated behind her had moved his foot around her neck and back on the flight. Sachdeva was arrested recently under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act of the Indian Penal Code.
Sachdeva, who was later, granted a bail in his defense said to the court that he was tired after attending a funeral in Delhi and had fallen off to sleep. He also said that he had told the staff of the flight to not disturb him. Addressing the accusation about the Bollywood actress, Sachdeva’s legal team also questioned that if the actress felt that way, why didn’t she inform the flight staff about it?
