Ever since Karan Johar announced Kalank, it has left the audience excited. The Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit starrer is directed by Abhishek Verman and is slated to release on the 19th of April next year. While the actors have been giving us glimpses of all the fun they are having on the sets of the film, recent reports suggest that Madhuri will be shooting a mujra for the film, early next month.
The song will be jointly choreographed by Saroj Khan and Remo D’souza and will be shot over a span of three days. While the actress has already started rehearsing with the choreographers, the rest of the team is currently practicing on the sets of the film in Andheri, Mumbai.
Talking about the song, Saroj ji said,
Yes, we started work on the mujra four days ago. I’m doing the choreography with Remo looking into the technical aspects. The idea is to create another memorable number that will remind people of our previous songs. People have forgotten pure Indian songs, it’s important to revive them. The song will be shot over three days on September 5, 6 and 7.
Whenever Saroj Khan and Madhuri have collaborated, they have given us memorable dance numbers like Ek Do Teen (Tezaab), Dhak Dhak (Beta) and Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai (Khalnayak) and now that the duo is collaborating after years, this one is going to be a treat to watch out for.
Excited and how!
