The state of Kerala is undergoing one of its worst calamities in history. Around 12 districts out of 44 are underwater and the death toll is rising by the day. The torrential rains and the opening of two major dams have caused life to come to an absolute standstill in the state. If you still know nothing about it, it’s probably because national news channels haven’t been giving the importance that it requires. While the national media still remains suspiciously away from all the chaos, celebrities have been trying to put a foot forward in helping those in need down south. While many actors in the south have joined hands to help out those in need, Bollywood celebrities have tried to do their part too.
Bollywood celebs have expressed their concern for the flood victims in Kerala and have urged their fans to donate to the cause and help them out. Celebrities like Vidya Balan, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Jacqueline Fernandez and many more joined in appealing to their fans to help by contributing for those in Kerala.
