Ananya Panday is one of the starkids who will soon become the news kids on the block with their entry in Bollywood. She is often spotted around the city and is in the top favourites of the paparazzi. It was earlier this year that Chunkey Panday‘s daughter came into the limelight with the announcement of Student Of The Year 2, produced by Karan Johar.
Ananya along with Tara Sutaria was set to make her debut opposite Tiger Shroff and was busy shooting for it the last few months in Dehradun. The movie was initially slated to release in November this year but later, the makers moved it to May, 2019. According to a report on in.com, it is owing to this delay that Ananya will now make her entry in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar‘s Gully Boy which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt instead of Student Of The Year.
However, Gully Boy will only give us a glimpse of Ananya as she will be seen in a cameo. We’re glad we won’t have to wait until next summer to witness this gorgeous starlet on the big screen.
Coming back to SOTY 2, reports also suggest that St. Teresa’s alumni, Alia, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra might shoot a special song for the film.
