There was something about Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that made me connect with it instantly. It was either the fact that some love stories never have a happy ending or the fact that it is okay to be in a certain state and yet to be happy with it. While that’s my current state (as the weekend is still a day away) I came across a picture of our very own Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) and Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) on a luncheon in London, and trust me I couldn’t be happier. While Anushka is with her hubby Virat Kohli vacationing in Birmingham the couple met Ranbir for a lunch and the picture as expected went viral on social media.

On the work front, Ranbir is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Anushka, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan and Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Coming back to the picture, as I look at it again, Channe Mereya plays in my head (a happier version though!).
