Priyanka Chopra is finally back in the bay and has begun prepping for her next movie. The actress who was last seen in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal in 2016 was busy shooting for American drama series Quantico and thus wasn’t able to star in a Hindi film due to her work commitments. Now with the series concluding in July, PeeCee has flown back to India and has kick-started work on Shonali Bose’s next.
We told you earlier that the film which was initially going to star Priyanka with Abhishek Bachchan and Zaira Wasim had to look for a new leading man after Abhishek backed out from the project. The makers then opted for Farhan Akhtar to star in the project based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary. While the same is yet to be confirmed, Priyanka took to Instagram stories to share a picture of the script of the flick titled, ‘The Sky Is Pink’.
Check it out.
Earlier a source close to the project had revealed to Indian Express that the film is based on Aisha’s book My Little Epiphanies and will showcase her journey from suffering pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13 to turning a motivational speaker. The script has already won at the Tallinn & Baltic Event 2017 Awards.
Now with PeeCee has put her prep glasses on, we can’t wait to see the first glimpse of this one.
