There are many Bollywood films that release in a year, some earn a lot of moolah at the box office, and others go unnoticed. While a majority of films fall into these categories, there are also some films that earn money at the box office, and the audience thinks why? One such film this year was Race 3. While it managed to do well at the ticket windows, it didn’t receive great reviews from the critics as well as the audience. But with time, the audience, as well as the actors from the film, have moved on. Now, Anil Kapoor who was last seen in the Remo D’souza directorial is currently promoting his next, Fanney Khan.
During an interview with Deccan Chronicles, the actor was asked why he signed a script like Race 3 and the actor’s reply managed to surprise me.
Anil said,
For the money. Whenever I sign a film, I obviously think of the amount of money that it will fetch me. Acting is my profession, it earns me my daily bread and butter. If I do not give importance to earning enough money, how will I run my kitchen? My wife will never allow me into the house if I do not earn money, so it’s important to me.
I am speechless, really!
What I am really happy about though is the fact that Fanney Khan’s trailer looks quite promising and it will hit the screens soon. I am genuinely looking forward to this one!
*Fingers crossed*
