Ever since Sanjay Dutt‘s biopic was announced, the movie grabbed so much attention and curiosity that by the time it released the audience was dying to see how it had finally turned out. With Sanjay’s tumultuous life along with Rajkumar Hirani‘s storytelling abilities, the movie was a win from the start and the box office collection is proof of it. The fact that it’s been 2 weeks and Sanju is still making headlines for something or the other is also no mean feat.
But there has been much talk about how a large chunk of Sanju baba’s life has been left out. While the movie shows the actors druggie phase, his relationship with his father and his connection to the Mumbai blasts, there was no mention of his first two marriages and his first daughter from his first wife.
According to reports in DNA, the writer of the film Abhijat Joshi had earlier revealed to the media that the makers of the movie had only used about 150 pages out 750 pages that he had written on Sanju baba’s life. Earlier this month, we’d told you that Sanjay had an emotional reaction after watching the movie and hugged both Ranbir Kapoor and Raju Hirani and told him that a sequel should also be made since he has a lot of stories he wants to tell.
