All you Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra shippers, it’s time to rejoice! Because the duo is coming together again 4 years after they starred together in the Hasee Toh Phasee. While the movie as a whole got an average collection at the box office, their on-screen chemistry was off the charts. So obviously, we’re super excited for their reunion in the upcoming flick Shotgun Shaadi. The makers went back and forth between a lot of candidates for the role of the leading lady in this movie. Shraddha Kapoor and Fatima Sana Sheikh were also considered to play the role but were unable to take it up as their dates were clashing with other projects and Pari finally bagged it.

The banner wanted a young star for the project and when they approached Parineeti, she liked the script. A few alterations were made to it, following which she signed on the dotted line. All the modalities have been worked out.
A source close to Parineeti revealed that she had given her final nod to the film because she really enjoyed the script and the role she was going to play.
She has given a nod to the makers. She loved the idea and her character. She is going to play the character of a dabang girl in the film.
