We’re halfway into Pride Month and we’re learning new things about the community every day. Over the past few years, the perception towards the LGBTQIA community changed and continues to change rapidly. As ardent lovers of all things fashion and beauty we were so excited to see how these large international brands also took up the cause to support this much-repressed community. Here are the heart-warming and trendy ways in which the biggest labels are supporting each LGBTQIA individual.
1. Burberry
The luxury fashion brand changed its age-old design to incorporate the rainbow which represents the LGBTQIA community.
2. Kat Von D
One of Kat Von D Beauty‘s latest releases is the Rain-Brow. A set of eyebrow tints, one for each colour of the rainbow. How amazing is this?!
3. MAC Cosmetics
The #MACLovesPride hashtag is all over our explore feed nowadays and we love how even a small gesture like this one is making a change at the root level.
4. Converse
One of our most favorite sneaker brands, Converse is collaborating with Miley Cyrus, a longstanding supporter of the LGBTQIA community to create a funky collection as you can see below.
5. Milk Makeup
Milk Makeup is releasing a product called as a part of their “Glitter =” campaign— A Glitter Stick (highlighter) in Techno which is a sparkly, iridescent cream. Perfect for pride month, don’t you think?
6. Kenneth Cole
Kenneth Cole‘s contest for Pride Month is encouraging people to show off their pride openly and we couldn’t be happier. The community deserves this openness now more than ever.
7. Apple
Well, we know this is not exactly a fashion or beauty brand but a watch strap does constitute as fashion right? At the WWDC a few weeks ago, along with the new Apple Watch, the brand also released a rainbow strap watch in support of the LGBTQIA community!
Amazing, right? Do you know of any other brands are supporting the LGBTQIA community? Let us know in the comments below.
