Varun Dhawan currently is at the top of his game. The actor who made his a debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year in 2012, has been a part of blockbusters throughout his career. Recently, the actor delivered yet another cinematic brilliance after he starred in Shoojit Sircar’s October. With so many Bollywood actors doing biopics, recently Varun was asked whether he’ll be a part of a biopic and the actor had a perfect answer.
Talking about starring in a biopic, Varun said,
If I have to do a biography on someone, it would be my dad. I think it would be about his early life, till the time he didn’t have me.
He also mentioned that biopics make him scared.
Whenever I am offered a biopic, I get scared. Most of the times, I don’t want to do one. I approach even my fictional characters as biopic characters. I am playing a tailor in Sui Dhaga. It’s not based on a particular person but it’s based on my observations of common people and how they go to work.
With his contemporary Arjun Kapoor soon starring in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat, the actor was asked whether he too will take up a period film to which Varun revealed that he was skeptical about it.
With a certain section being offended with the content in historical films, the Badlapur actor said,
Unfortunately, this is a double-edged sword in our country where we have certain sections getting upset with certain interpretation. If you are doing it from a clean heart and a good place, hopefully, no one will get offended. In 2018, everyone’s offended with everything.
Seems like Varun is following his heart.
