Most of us just loved romantic comedies, don’t we? E! News mentioned that there may be a Legally Blonde 3 and we’re more than excited. Remember Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde 1 and 2? Isn’t it awesome that it might have a comeback? Apparently, Reese is in talks with MGM to produce the movie through her Hello Sunshine banner, alongside Marc Platt and Adam Siegel.
Also, Karen McCullah and Kirsten Smith, who adapted the novel for the original film, are in talks to write the script for this movie.
For many years the scripts have been back and forth and Reese hasn’t been clear about the return of this movie. She isn’t giving us a lot of details on the storyline and what Elle Woods will be up to in this movie so, we’re pretty much at the edge of our seats for this one.
Legally Blonde grossed $141 million worldwide on an $18 million budget. The sequel, titled Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, was released in 2003 and grossed $124 million on a $45 million budget. These numbers can’t lie, right?
Won’t it be amazing to see Reese Witherspoon back after 15 years in all the right shades of pink? We honestly just can’t wait for it!
