Bollywood films have given us so many friendship goals over the years and I love them too but they’ve mostly been all about the ‘bros’. Well, ladies, that’s about to change because we just watched the #VeereDiWedding trailer and this one’s giving us a major #sistersbeforemisters vibe. They recently launched a new poster with #imnotaCHICKflick and damn right it isn’t. It is about women being their amazing, strong, beautiful, crazy, indecisive and crass selves.
The story is about our four lead chicas, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Sumeet Vyas is his adorable best as Kareena’s fiance and while the plot seems to revolve around their wedding, it’s all the parallel storylines that bring out each of the central characters so well! With this trailer and a strong cast like this, we can only imagine what a madhouse of fun this film is going to be.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film shows a side of contemporary women that exists but is rarely attempted on screen. Definitely calling my girl gang for a Veere Day Out. 1st June needs to arrive here soon!
