Towards the end of last year, Karan Johar and Dharma productions together had put out posters of Dhadak confirming Ishaan Katter and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. And boy did we get excited! Unfortunately, Janhvi went through a tough time when her mother Sridevi passed, but she resumed shooting a mere few days later so as to not postpone the release date of the movie. She might just be a debutant but this just goes to show how professional she is.
Yesterday, Janhvi took to Instagram to share a cute and cozy picture with her co-star Ishaan and director Shashank Khaitan and she captioned it ‘Home’ as they wrapped up their schedules in Kolkata and Rajasthan.

Reports of on-set camaraderie between the actors and the director have been very common, Manish Malhotra even shared a picture of these three a few months ago.
While we’ve been blessed with great behind the scenes pictures from the sets of Dhadak, earlier this year, Karan Johar had to issue a strict policy against use of phones on set after pictures of Janhvi’s look in a crucial scene was leaked.
The movie is set to release on July 20th, 2018. Dhadak is the remake of the super-hit Marathi film Sairat.
