It’s undeniable that bright yellow is something that screams summer. So, it is quite predictable that our favourite celebs would opt for the hue of the moment this season.
It was no surprise that Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Beyoncé would go for the same yellow summer skirt. They chose to go for this asymmetric skirt designed by Simon Porte Jacquemus from his label Jacquemus‘ spring/summer collection La Bomba.
It was celebrity stylist Mohit Rai, who picked this skirt for Shilpa’s recent appearance at an event. He styled it with a white spaghetti top from Massimo Dutti. Continuing the summer palette, he accessorised the outfit with pointed toe heels from Kurt Geiger and delicate baubles from Swarovski. The dewy makeup by celebrity makeup artist Ajay Shelar and her stylised wavy locks by celebrity hairstylist Sheetal F Khan did justice to the summery, feminine vibe of the ensemble.
We had seen this skirt before on Beyoncé, but she had styled it in a very different way. Queen B went for a more casual approach. She teamed the skirt with a cropped hoodie from JW Anderson featuring their Cola Boots Print. But her accessories had a major fashion moment with clear lace-up heels, a sling bag and especially those fashionable, quirky tiny sunglasses. Those dual-tone, oval frames from Gentle Monster just amped up the whole look.
