American television has created a lot of impact on our lives since many decades now. Shows like Full House and Home Improvement have shaped our childhood in many ways. There were also many shows we watched as teenagers that were so much more than just a 30 minute entertainment piece on the idiot box. These TV shows actually became a part of our lifestyle. Even today, we use phrases and references from these shows because we love them and relate to them so much. The funny thing is, when we watched these shows in the ’90s, we didn’t understand a lot of the scenes and what the characters were up to, because we were still kids. But when we stumble upon an episode now, we realise a lot of things we didn’t get back in the day. Here are the shows you might have watched as a teenager in the ’90s. Let’s get right to it.

1. F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994)

Fun Fact: When Courteney Cox dressed as fat Monica Geller for the first time, Matthew Perry walked right past her without recognizing her.

2. Baywatch (1989)

Fun Fact: Most of the cast weren’t even strong swimmers and Pamela Anderson actually hates water.

3. The Bold And The Beautiful (1987)

Fun Fact: Lauren Koslow and Zachariah Koslow, who played mother and son on the show, are also mother and son in real life.

4. Everybody Loves Raymond (1996)

Fun Fact: According to Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton got the part of Debra Barone because she was the only one willing to kiss him on the lips in the auditions.

5. Seinfeld (1989)

Fun Fact: Jerry Seinfeld turned down an offer from NBC, that would have made him one hundred ten million dollars for a tenth season of the show.

6. Sex And The City (1998)

Fun Fact: Even when she was being shot from the waist up, Kim Cattrall insisted on wearing heels. She said it made her feel more like Samantha Jones.

7. That ’70s Show (1998)

Fun Fact: The filming of the final episode was frequently delayed because Laura Prepon couldn’t stop crying.

8. Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990)

Fun Fact: The house used for exterior shots of the ‘Walsh home’ is not in Beverly Hills at all. It is 1675 East Altadena Drive, Altadena, California.

9. Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1996)

Fun Fact: It cost five thousand dollars to ‘dust’ a vamp using computer graphics.

10. The Sopranos (1999)
