Everyone enjoys a good cocktail every now and then and we’d drink them more often if they weren’t so darn expensive. There is no doubt that a typical Saturday night filled with cocktails, could really take a toll on your wallet. But that doesn’t have to be the case! Here are 5 DIY cocktail recipes that can make your Saturday night all the more amazing and cost-effective.
1. Sex On The Beach
Who said cocktails have to be complicated? This cocktail is super easy and super effective and not to mention, super tasty!
Recipe and ingredients: Cranberry juice, orange juice and vodka. Additionally, if you have peach schnapps, you can add that too. Mix the ingredients and shake it well. Then serve it with some ice. Just make sure you add the alcohol first and then the juices.
2. Pina Colada
This lovely tropical treat is truly a blessing for your taste buds. What makes it better is the fact that you can make it at home in a jiffy.
Recipe and ingredients: White rum, coconut cream, single cream and pineapple juice. Just mix and shake! Seems easy enough right?
3. Woo Woo
This light and easy to make cocktail is also really refreshing and tasty.
Recipe and ingredients: Peach schnapps, vodka and cranberry juice. Be sure to add the peach schnapps and vodka first and then pour over the cranberry juice.
4. Mojito
Everyone loves a good mojito! This light and refreshing cocktail make for a perfect start to your Saturday night as well.
Recipe and ingredients: Half a lime, mint leaves, sugar, white/golden rum and soda. First, you need to put the lime, mint leaves and sugar (watch how much you put) and mash them together. Then you top it off with rum followed by soda.
5. Vodka Sunset
Easy to make and super delicious! What more do we really want from a cocktail?
Recipe and ingredients: Vodka, orange juice and raspberry cordial. First, mix and shake the orange juice and vodka and then add a dash of raspberry cordial. Wait for it to sink to the bottom.
