If you live in Mumbai, chances are your hair will need your attention because summer’s right around the corner, which means humidity—Which in turn means dry and frizzy hair! As a girl with curly/wavy hair myself let me tell you that the added dryness and frizz can be devastatingly painful. Making a case for the extra usage of my hair iron.
Great right? Nope. Wrong idea… The heat from your styling tool causes more harm than good, especially during the summer. So, it’s best to stay away from that hair iron or blow-dryer!
Now that the tools are gone, what are you left with?
Thankfully, for me hair salon, Jean Claude Biguine was right around the corner, which meant… Hair spa time!
I tried the 60 minute Reborn Treatment as I needed a remedy, and I needed it fast! What was so awesome about this hair spa was the fact that it included a deep scalp nourishment and left my hair feeling pampered and hydrated.
Step 1: Shampoo
First up, my hair was washed (sans conditioner). This is because the next step included a conditioning mask in any case. So, there wasn’t any need for conditioning pre-masking.
Step 2: Emulsion
The foam emulsion treatment was used to neutralise the hair. The hair gets sectioned and the foam is applied to each of these parts and then massaged in.

Step 3: Hair Booster + Mask
An infusion serum is combined with a micro-fine emulsion treatment to lock in hydration and long lasting stability.

Step 4: Massage + Steam
The mask is massaged for 5-10 minutes followed up with a very relaxing steam. The steamer is timed and once over, the hair inside the balloon feels a strong breeze of cold air. Best. Feeling. Ever!
Step 5: Post Wash
After rinsing out the mask, a hydrating styling cream with shine spray is applied. The spray offers up thermal protection to condition and protect the hair.
