Running between backstage and front row, chatting with our favorite celebs at our stall, catching up on lunch at 6:00 pm, making sure we got a good boomerang of our favorite looks from the runway—Here’s the little that we do to make sure you’re always updated about the hottest trends we saw at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2018. As we came to the close of another fabulous season, the final day amazed us in every way. From Namrata Joshipura bringing The Matrix to life with her grand finale to Péro’s Pink Winter showcase and Abhishek Paatni’s modern take on menswear, day four was eclectic, to say the least. Here’s what went down:
1. Aekatri by Charu Vij
We saw earthy tones meet modern silhouettes at Charu Vij’s AW 18 showcase. From jackets to layered skirts and more, this collection spoke of a new kind of elegance.

2. Autree by Gautam Gupta
From the beginning to the end of the show, Autree by Gautam Gupta showed us pieces that we could easily wear to work—stylish upgraded versions of them. Shirts over pants, jumpsuits, capes and more. There wasn’t one style that we didn’t love.

Diksha Khanna
When we think ripped jeans, the only thing that comes to our mind is pants, but Diksha Khanna took it a step further and turned it into ripped saris (our personal fave), dresses, palazzos and more. The zero silhouette of all the clothes was one feature that we were crushing on throughout.

Kanika Goyal
Modern, preppy, mixed and fun! Kanika Goyal‘s showcase at AIFW AW18 was an eccentric one start to finish. From asymmetrical pleather skirts to pantsuits, and foil work over uncommon colour palettes and patterns.

Priyam Narayan
Flowy, flowy fabrics are our favorite—That’s why our eyes were locked to the runway when Priyam Narayan brought forth one stunning look after another, we were hooked. The drop-crotch jumpsuit, tassel-clad cape, and asymmetrical dress were a few of our favorites.

Pinnacle by Shruti Sancheti
Last year Pinnacle by Shruti Sancheti was a floral dream, but for her autumn/winter line, she picked darker tones like navy, teal and red and crafted the most beautiful silhouettes. Here are some of our faves.

Sid Tytler
Sid Tytler rejuvenated our love for layers, balloon sleeves and statement sparkles with this A/W 18 line. Tones of black and red took over the runway in the form of well-tailored jackets, oversized tops, eccentric pantsuits and more.

Péro
Péro’s Pink Winter is one that we’re still swooning over. The entire runway was pink, start to end as plaid and gorgeous embroidery took center stage. Each of the models wore socks on slides, a trend that is soon taking over the fashion space. Each look was a detailed amalgamation of various times in fashion—the ’90s headbands, ’00s totes, and modern slides.
