The collection at Péro was a complete fit for Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter ’18. In fact, it redefined autumn winter with its fresh take on winter palette. The designer wanted to bring us more of winter-spring, than autumn winter and hence used all shades of pink to shake things up!

When have we not loved anything pink? From the hot pink runway to the candy pinky counter with live percussionists, even the mood board consisted of hot pinks and corals. The designer gave the Scottish tartans a vintage twist with Passamanria (Portuguese for lace or trim). The laces ranged from meticulous knottings to 3D laser cut flowers, ribbon embroideries to crochet detailings, handwoven by local weavers from Himachal Pradesh.
Some interesting techniques like superimposing printed florals on chequered wool, hand embroidery and ornamental needlework on appliqued flowers, showcased on the peppy numbers we spotted on the runway. All in all, this show was the brilliance we were waiting for this season at AIFW. Every minute of the spectacle was a treat to our eyes and emotions! What do you think about the show?
