A couple of years ago, raps made a major comeback in the music scene of India. And the super talented Raftaar happens to be one of the torch-bearers of desi rapping in Bollywood. 29-year old Dilin Nair, who is popularly known by his stage name, has weaved magic in several super hit numbers like Tamanche Pe Disco from Bullet Raja, Dhaakad from Dangal, Bandook Meri Laila from A Gentleman and many singles. He’s the latest one to join the brigade of gang leaders on the popular adventure reality show, MTV Roadies (you can check out my last year’s fun interaction with Neha Dhupia, Rannvijay Singh, Prince Narula, Nikhil Chinapa and Harbhajan Singh here). So far, Raftaar has been quite sweet to most of the contestants (and the exact opposite with the ones who misbehave). I am totally crushing on the celebrated rapper for his swag and overall charm on the show.
