Lakmé Fashion Week SR’18 started on a fabulous note which poured into another great second day. Day 2 included a lot sustainable clothing, weaves, banarasi work, stunning sarees drapes, handloom and a bevy of amazing and quirky designs that did both; paid homage to Indian culture and set in new trends. Scroll through the galleries to see everything we loved.

Pankaja x Odisha Weaves
This installation highlighted raw textures of fabrics in rustic greys, off-whites and beige. The collection included pockets sown into backless sarees that were worn by the rural women in Orissa. It emphasised the connection between women who were standing together with their hands connected with red and yellow threads.
