Since the Virushka wedding has successfully fulfilled all our ideas of what a fairytale wedding between two smart, successful and amazing people looks like, the focus has shifted to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Much like the annoying neighbouring uncles and aunts, everyone and their grandmas want DeepVeer to tie the knot. This time around though it really looks like our prayers might get answered as rumours of their wedding has been gathering steam.
Multiple reports suggest that the two will marry this year and it’ll mostly be a destination wedding as they’re both beach bums. The families are also planning two receptions, one in Bombay (for Bollywood and Ranveer’s family) and one in Bangalore (for Deepika’s family). Ranveer was asked about the same during an interview with India Today. Here’s what he said –
Really? I don’t know where that’s coming from. But, yes of course, these are things I think about. I try and create a work and life balance so as much as I consumed by my work at the moment, these things are on my mind. But, nothing decisive as of yet. Currently, I am a little bit consumed with my work. I have got a line up of films; one that I am currently shooting. I am currently in the thick of ‘Gully Boy’, after that I have got ‘Simmba’, with Rohit Shetty and then ‘1983 World Cup’. Right now, I am just consumed by these exciting opportunities.
If you read between the lines, then you will notice that he hasn’t denied the news, and he has also admitted that marriage is on his mind. What do you think? Is it actually going to happen?
