Bahubali actress, Tamannah Bhatia was at the inauguration of the Malabar jewellery store in Himyathnagar in Hyderabad today, when a fan reportedly hurled his footwear at the actress. Although he (fortunately!) missed his target, the shoe hit an employee of the jewellery store. The man, who was identified as Karimullah is a BTech graduate. He was immediately detained by the police on duty and taken for questioning.
As per a report in PTI, the reason for his disgraceful act was that he was “frustrated by the roles she has been playing in her recent films”. The police has registered a case under relevant IPC sections against Karimullah, after the employee who was hit by the shoe filed a complaint.
