Best remembered for her roles in Major Saab and Life In A… Metro – veteran actress Nafisa Ali is one of the most talented women in the Indian film industry. Before foraying into Bollywood movies, Nafisa had won the title of Femina Miss India in 1976 and she had also been the second runner-up at Miss International in 1977.
After making her presence felt on screen, back in September 2005, she was even appointed as the he chairperson of the Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI). And she has also dabbled in politics time and again.
The yesteryear diva is quite active on social media and often shares pictures where she’s accompanied by her Arjuna awardee polo player husband – Colonel Sodhi. And recently, she shared several photographs from her daughter Pia Sodhi‘s fairytale-ish wedding in Delhi. Donning a gorgeous Sabyasachi lehenga, the bride looked ethereal.
