Phir Hera Pheri director and noted actor Neeraj Vora passed away earlier this morning. He was in a coma for the last one year after he suffered a massive heart attack and stroke in 2016 and had been living at Firoz Nadiadwala‘s house. He breathed his last at 3am in Criti Care hospital in Juhu.
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit confirmed the news to Indian Express,
Neeraj Vora died today at 3 am in Criti Care hospital in Juhu. He had been in coma and living at Firoz Nadiadwala’s place. When his condition deteriorated in the night, he was taken to the hospital, where he breathed his last.
The 54 year old actor will be cremated this afternoon at 3pm in Santa Cruz.
He was best known for writing the first part of Hera Pheri and also Rohit Shetty‘s Golmaal in 2006. He has starred in films like Rangeela, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Mast, Satya, Pukar, Company, and the most recent being Welcome Back.
