Suits actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are engaged and the world can’t stop gushing over the two. Our very own desi girl Priyanka Chopra is very good friends with Meghan, so obviously she posted the nicest message for the soon-to-be royal and her handsome Prince. Check it out!
Rumours are rife that Priyanka might be a potential bridesmaid for Meghan as they’re such good friends. The ladies first met at a party in Toronto when they were shooting for their respective shows Suits and Quantico. Meghan even interviewed PC for her lifestyle blog and soon enough, they formed a great bond, often appearing on each other’s social media feeds.
Priyanka has also spoken about the scrutiny Meghan’s relationship with Prince Harry has gone through, referring to Meghan’s Vanity Fair cover story. In an interview to ET Priyanka said how the focus could be on Meghan’s work instead of just her love life –
I don’t know if I will get into trouble for this, but I have an opinion. I mean, she’s on the cover of Vanity Fair. It would have been nice to write about her not just her boyfriend. I’m just saying. I mean, she’s an actor, she’s an activist, she’s a philanthropist. I mean, she does so much more.
She added –
It’s just a little sexist. Look, I’m a feminist and I love boys, okay… The only thing I’m saying is that there needs to be a certain sense of equality where a woman is not just a plus one, you know. It’s nice to be your own identity too.
PC also spoke up during an interview with television personality Wendy Williams, when the hostess referred to Meghan as Prince Harry’s girlfriend. Priyanka replied –
Also Meghan Markle, actress, Suits, I mean you know, her achievements. Just saying!

Clearly, the friendship is strong and the love is equal. If the reports are true, won’t it be amazing to see what Priyanka wears to the royal wedding? Though she’d look splendid in a potato sack too, so I guess it doesn’t matter.
